- Plastic parts and Rubber hoses: Due to the nature of plastic
and rubber parts with environmental factors, we will not be responsible for breakage of plastic/rubber parts. They are designed
to snap together and not come apart!! They can be expensive depending on what you drive. We will do everything
humanly possible to avoid 'unnessary' damage. It may not be possible to fix your car otherwise. We will try and
call you if we see a problem before it happens.
- Customer-supplied parts: At our discretion, we may install certain customer
supplied new and used parts. However, if the customer fails to give us the right parts, or a bad used part, even
if it wasn't your fault, there will be a $100 rack fee for each day your car is stuck on a lift. Generally, we
are unable to install customer-supplied parts as wrong parts or bad parts received from a customer tie up our lifts,
often for 2-3 days until the right part comes in costing us a great deal of income. It isn't our fault your parts
are wrong or you were sold bad parts. This does not apply if you buy parts through Gear One. We appreciate your understanding.
- Gas in your car: Please make sure you have some gas in your tank.
There is nothing more frustrating than walking back to the shop after fixing your car and running out of gas on a test drive.
If Gear One Automotive Technology has to put gas in your car, we must charge you shop rate plus
the cost of the gas.
